Description: A beautifully simple Roman perfume sprinkler (unguentarium) in aqua-tinted blown glass, featuring a rounded globe body and gently flared, fluted mouth. Once used to hold oils, perfumes, or medicinal liquids, this form became prominent during the Roman empire’s adoption of blown glass technology.
Suggested Placement: Equally compelling in a series of ancient vessels, showcased in a cabinet or on a shelf with low light to highlight its subtle iridescence.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. No modern cracks or repairs; surface with sediment, slight weathering and soft iridescence from age.
