Dimensions: 2″ W × 3″ H
Description: A beautifully proportioned Roman perfume sprinkler (unguentarium) in aqua-tinted blown glass, featuring a globe-shaped body and gently flared, fluted mouth. Crafted during the Roman Empire’s golden age of glassblowing, this vessel would have held oils, perfumes, or medicinal liquids. Its surface retains a soft iridescence—an elegant testament to its centuries-long burial and preservation.
Suggested Placement: Equally compelling as part of a curated grouping of ancient vessels, displayed in a cabinet, on a shadow shelf, or atop a mantle—letting low light softly reflect its internal glow.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. No modern cracks or repairs; surface shows slight weathering and fine iridescent tones typical of ancient glass.
Shipping: Eligible for complimentary shipping within the continental U.S.
Pickup: Available for pickup by appointment at our Saugerties showroom.
