A substantial Restoration Hardware La Salle desk, combining the disciplined proportions of 1940s industrial furniture with a richly patinated zinc finish. The broad 70-inch work surface is balanced by two pedestal banks and seven drawers, including a shallow central drawer, giving the piece both architectural presence and considerable utility. RH documented this model as wood construction hand-wrapped in sheet metal, with iron hardware and a zinc finish.

The metal surface is integral to the character of the La Salle collection: RH describes the sheet metal as hand-applied, buffed, and antiqued through oxidation to create subtle variations in tone and surface. The resulting finish gives the desk a restrained industrial quality that feels equally at home with contemporary, modernist, or collected interiors.

Suggested Placement:
Especially strong as an executive desk in a private office, library, loft, or generously scaled study. Its dark zinc surface also provides a compelling counterpoint to pale plaster, warm woods, leather, and tailored upholstery.

Condition Report:
Excellent pre-owned condition with minimal wear consistent with use. The naturally variegated zinc surface and subtle tonal shifts are inherent to the intended finish and contribute to the desk’s character. There is a small tear to the zinc less than 1/8" on the top left front corner. There is some wear to the zinc finish in the center of the desk right above the central drawer.
