Dimensions:

Description:
A Swedish planter stand from the 1960s, crafted in teak with a warm, darkened finish and contrasting veneer panels. The elongated rectangular form is elevated on slender square legs, with integrated open handles at each end—an understated detail that reflects the clarity and restraint of Scandinavian modern design.
The removable metal tray sits neatly within the frame and shows a naturally oxidized surface from decades of use, with visible water marking that speaks to its original function. Subtle tonal variation across the veneers adds depth and visual interest, giving the piece a more architectural presence than typical mid-century planters.
Designed as an indoor planter, the form adapts easily to contemporary interiors as a sculptural stand for trailing plants, herbs, or a curated arrangement of ceramics.
Suggested Placement:
Ideal in front of a window with cascading greenery or styled as an indoor herb garden in a kitchen or sunroom.
Condition Report:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The metal tray shows oxidation and water marking from use. The wood frame has scattered nicks, light scratches, and surface wear consistent with age.
