Description:
A matched set of four unmarked Dutch bar stools dating to the 1960s, constructed in dark-stained oak with tightly woven natural rush seats. Their spare, backless silhouettes and compact square footprints have an architectural purity, balanced by the warmth and texture of the handwoven fiber.
Subtly flared square legs are joined by tiered stretchers that provide stability and practical footrests. Each seat is woven in a directional envelope pattern, creating a crisp geometric composition when viewed from above. The oak frames have been sensitively touched up, unifying the finish while preserving the grain, patina, and quiet authority of age.

Suggested Placement:
Ideal beneath a bar-height kitchen ledge, cocktail bar, tasting counter, or hospitality console. Their compact proportions allow the stools to tuck neatly away while the set’s dark oak and natural rush bring restrained warmth to both modern and traditional interiors.

Condition Report:
Very good vintage condition. The oak frames have been sensitively touched up and are structurally sound, with minor age-appropriate rubs, dings, finish variation, and wear to the footrests. The woven rush seats remain strong and in good condition, showing gentle tonal variation and light surface wear consistent with age and use.
