A sculptural Swedish Grace slipper chair dating to the 1920s, upholstered in deep red velvet with elegant curved paneling and braided trim. The rounded back and sweeping arms create a soft architectural silhouette typical of Scandinavian interpretations of early Art Deco design. Turned wooden front legs with brass casters contrast with the gently splayed rear legs, giving the chair both visual balance and mobility.
The chair’s compact scale and enveloping form make it surprisingly comfortable. Its proportions feel intentional and refined—equally suited to a dressing room, bedroom sitting area, or as an accent chair layered into a living room vignette.
